You can always be a good friend and ease things for your pal in need but remember not to put your life at risk by lending the things you are not supposed to lend.
We all own some personal things and as the name suggests only you should use them, for they contain a huge amount of bacteria that grows on your skin and can be harmful to others.
Below are some of the most dangerous things you shouldn’t lend to others
Lipstick and Lip Gloss
You friend might have left her makeup set at your home and would not mind if you use it. But should you do that? Never, the reason being the diseases like herpes can be transmitted easily by sharing lipstick or lip gloss.
The virus gets mixed with the mouth’s mucous membrane and saliva and can affect you badly.
Every individual has a unique bacterial flora balance in earwax and when you share your headphones with your friend this balance gets disrupted. You are sure to provoke an ear infection by sharing headphones.
Hair Clips and Curlers
It is not a good idea to share your comb. You should never share your hair accessories like hair clips and curlers as well. Fungi and lice from the hair scalp can stick to the comb or clips and can spread to others.
It is the bacteria which cause the smell of sweat and that’s what we try to neutralize it by using Deodorants. But your friend can get infected if they use your deodorant which normally comes in contact with your skin.
Towels absorb maximum liquid from your body surface and keep you healthy. But they are breeding grounds for mold, bacteria, and fungi due to increased humidity inside the bathroom.
Items like nail clippers, razors, and other accessories, when used frequently often contain invisible microscopic droplets of blood on the surface. Sharing with others can get you in contact with herpes and fungal infections.
Skin Care Accessories
Face cleansing brushes, rollers, and sponges accumulate small bits of skin over a period of time that contains bacteria. That is the reason for acne and flaky facial skin problem.
When guests come home, it is good and natural to offer them slippers which are specific for inside the home use only. Wearing shoes at times causes sweating and create perfect breeding conditions for bacteria.
